Space experts and stakeholders from around the world gathered in Geneva, Switzerland, to discuss space governance and possible diplomatic solutions to space security issues like debris management. Jeanne discussed media coverage of space issues, and the impact it has on public perceptions and international relations. She also moderated a public conversation about the so-called “overview effect” with former European Space Agency astronaut Jean-Francois Clervoy, Niklas Hedman of the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs, and Renata Dwan, Director of the UN Institute for Disarmament Research, the sponsor of the conference.
