The DHS Undersecretary for Science and Technology joined representatives from the US Secret Service, US Citizenship and Immigration Services, and Amazon Web Services to discuss how artificial intelligence is being deployed in support of homeland security missions. The convening of the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers under the leadership of MITRE and Rand also explored how AI might be used going forward, while respecting privacy and civil liberties.
