The head of National Security Policy for OpenAI and a member of Anthropic’s National Security Advisory Council talked about the future of global security in the AI age at the AI + Intelligence Summit convened by the Special Competitive Studies Project.

Sasha Baker, formerly a DOD and NSC official, and David Cohen, former Deputy Director of the CIA, discussed with Jeanne the interface between US intelligence agencies and the AI industry, the impact of AI on the intelligence community workforce, and the AI intelligence-related capabilities of the US and its adversaries.

Jeanne also conducted a fireside chat with retired Vice Admiral Frank Whitworth, the former Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.  Topics included the impact of AI on data collection, analysis and decision making, as well as the gap between current AI-enabled space surveillance capabilities and what is needed.
