Over the horizon threats and how the Department of Homeland Security can best prepare for them were discussed at a convening of the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers. Jeanne’s panel included NFL Chief Security Officer (and former DC police chief) Cathy Lanier, and current and former officials from DHS. It was a sobering but productive conversation about the need to make government more responsive and agile.
